Winnie-the-Pooh, who can also be called Pooh Bear, is the main character of the book. This bear attracts everyone, and every child can retell at least one story from the life of this character. He lived in Ashdown Forest, East Sussex, England. This Pooh Bear had a lot of friends: Rabbit, Owl, Piglet, Eeyore and many others.

In the first chapter the author wrote about Pooh's favorite food honey. The Bear could do everything to get and taste it. He decided to get honey from bees hollow. Winnie-the-Pooh was cunning enough to cheat them and pretended to be a cloud. But Bees were not so stupid to believe it. As a result he could not get honey but gave a funny try. Of course, his best friend Piglet was with him and helped him just as he could. The Piglet was very helpful and kind-hearted. He helped everyone who was in need.

The second chapter said that the Pooh Bear was a true friend. He loved visiting his friends and spent time together. In this chapter he decided to go to Rabbit. The Rabbit was an intelligent character. He could not offend anyone. It was a long way to his house, and the main hero became hungry and asked Rabbit to give him something to eat. This situation showed that he was a bit impolite because he ate a lot of food in the Rabbit's house without permission and could not get out of it. He just stuck in the front door.

The fourth chapter showed that Winnie-the-Pooh was very kind. The Old Donkey, Eeyore, lost his tail and did not know what to do. He was sad and weak about that situation. The Pooh Bear managed to find it and picked the right words to cheer the Old Donkey up.

Winnie-the-Pooh was very talented. When he was going somewhere, he always made up songs or rhymes. This hero liked it so much and tried to make his friends laugh when they were upset. In Milne`s books, the main character was kind, sincere, sometimes impolite, but very friendly, with a good sense of humor. That is why he was the favorite one for children all over the world.
